I know Wednesday's topic is usually Wednesday in the Word but the Holy Spirit has been blessing me with me some A-Mazing worship as of late (thanks to my A-Mazing church's musical leader(s) and choir who are whipping out some fabulous new tunes). You can see this post on my new baby (web site) as of late (in conjunction w/ my parentals) but this past Sunday was no exception with the below song.
My favorite part to scream out...for me...for my husband....for my children...for my family....for my friends...for life:
The mountains shake before Him
The demons run and flee
At the mention of the name
King of Majesty
There is no power in hell
Or any who can stand
Before the power and the presence of the Great I am ...
Blare it. Bust out the moves. Be blessed.

Okay, so . . . a few weeks ago there was a singer/songwriter in the news who had died of an apparent drug overdose. Not knowing anything about this lady, I went to iTunes to see what she was famous for singing. Big mistake. From hearing the 90 sec. snippet of her song, I have now been plagued by the lyrics in my head for 2 weeks or more. At night when I'm trying to fall asleep, the words to her song play over and over in my head - and they are not edifying at all.
I am hoping that this song will be an antidote to this annoying situation. I plan to play it and sing it in my head to crowd out the other lyrics. Thanks for sharing it!
Anonymous--thank you so much for commenting! Love your testimony of what goes into our minds. I pray the Lord will use His word (and music) to drown out the sounds of the world. Bless you, sweet sister!
What a fabulous worship song...LOVE IT!
