Free-for-all Friday: Easy Easter Treats~Robin's Nests!

This is a cute Easter/Spring treat that I enjoy making each year. My 4 year old daughter loved helping me this year. They are so easy, cute and taste good, too! Wrap them up in cute Easter packaging for your kids' friends, teachers or neighbors!

For this project you will need:

4 Large Shredded Wheat Biscuits

1/2 Cup Coconut

2 Tablespoons Brown Sugar

1/2 Cup margarine or butter, melted

Egg candy (ie: Robin Eggs, chocolate eggs, Jelly Beans)

Peeps (chicks)

*Crumble the shredded wheat in a large bowl. Add the coconut, sugar and melted butter and mix well.

*Press the shredded wheat mixture into muffin tin cups lined with foil and form into a nest shape: *Bake the nests at 350 degrees for 10 minutes.

*When the nests have cooled, remove them from the muffin cups. Fill with eggs and top with a Peeps Chick.

this looks so fun!!! i am always looking for more fun ideas to do around Easater time. Maybe we could attach Psalm 91:4 "He will cover you with his feathers, and under his wings you will find refuge; his faithfulness will be your shield and rampart."

That is the cutest thing ever!! It doesn't look hard to do either! Do they bake with the dip in the middle?

Let me tell you, I was lucky enough to receive one of these tasty treats a couple years ago and boy are they good. My favorite is the next alone. It's so yummy! Cute idea.

Love the birds nests, Donna! They are so cute. The calla lillies are just as cute, but mine would be deformed and matted. Maybe I will give them a try anyways!
