- Notice I have two of many of the same products. That is because I buy two papers so I can stock up when an item is free or deeply discounted.
- Also notice I don't buy random items just because they are on sale. I only buy things that are practical...chicken, yogurt, toilet paper, wipes, veggies, etc.
You can do this too! You can make a difference in your budget with a little work and planning. I'm here to help and I tell you exactly how. Don't forget...start collecting your coupons by buying the Sunday paper. Next week I'll tell you how to organize them.

Whoa. 2 posts in one day! I am the queen of buying nonpractical items just b/c they are on sale so you're gonna have to do a makeover on this sistah! Also, did you get ALL of that on your 20 coupon limit or did you make more than one trip? That 20 coupon limit kinda throws me off, too. Good work!
Excited? I can't wait to go grocery shopping. That is totally impressive! What are the people behind you in line saying?
HPS- I did two transactions with 20 coupons each. There was no one behind me so I just did one right after the other. I've done this many times and never have a problem.
Gosh. Why did I never think of that one?!
I am VERY excited about this little lesson on couponing, I know it will be beneficial and I am ready to start saving.....!!!
OK I have my coupons ready to go to the store HPS learned the impulse shopping from me. But I will try my hardest not to do it. Let you know. Thanks, Richelle, great work.
Yea! I can't wait to go. I organized all of my coupons last night. I have three trips to take and I can't wait!
Great post Richelle!
Ok I am amazed I saved 63.00 I had never done that before thanks Richelle.
I'm already in love with your "column"! I soooooo need some pointers in this area! So excited!
Ok, that is amazing! When we got married almost 8 years ago, I did the grocery shopping the first few times. It didn't take my husband long to realize that I can't stick to the list and that the buy one get one impulse things get me every time. So he took over the grocery shopping. I have actually loved not having to do it, but now with your column, I feel like I might be ready to try again. It would be like a game. But I don't have HTs down here in Fl. Can you still help me? I live by Denise. Our husbands work together.
Thanks,
Overspender
Angela- Oh yes, this will totally work no matter where you live. My goal is to teach you HOW to coupon. The coupons will vary depending on the Sunday paper, the stores will vary depending your location, etc. This is why I don't plan to list specific deals. I will teach you exactly how I do it so you can use the tools in the best way for your family! I'm so glad you're on board!
I'm so excited to find this blog!! I can't wait to learn how to save money at the grocery store. I'm amazed that you were able to buy that much for so little. Thank you for sharing your wisdom!!
Ok! I didn't do as well as you, Richelle, but I spent $48 and saved $50.72 at HT today. The only problem was they wouldn't let me use two coupons for BOGO! I don't think they liked me.
