I am planning an eco-friendly baby shower for my sister, and, trying so hard to think of different things to do. Anyway...... I came up with a wishing well where each guest will be asked to bring one organic jar of baby food, but I don't know how to present it in invitations or at the shower? I searched and searched the internet and could NOT find anything to help, hoping you ladies can!!!!!!
Come on, you classy, RWAVers. Tell our sister your creative ideas. Never know~we may be able to help you out in a pinch one day, too!

Not sure what the wishing well is but for the invitation, you could include a cute little rhyme like:
Being green can be an expense.
Help stock the pantry of the new parents!
Bring a jar of organic baby veggies or fruit.
We'll have a display with their edible loot. :)

I was trying to think of something like a diaper cake, but with jars of baby food. Two thoughts: you could display the jars on a tiered serving dish, like a cake stand. The other thought is to have someone collect the jars as people arrive, then stick them in cellophane bags and tie off with a pretty ribbon. You can then present them to the mommy-to-be at the end.
Love fun questions such as this! What about googling a picture of an organic baby food jar and having it printed on heavy cardstock with the info printed on the back? It would be a fun add in the envelope or embellishment to your invites...tied on with cute ribbon or something to go with your theme?
Ya'll are good. Love these ideas. Almost makes me want to host an eco friendly shower myself. Hmmmmmmm....which friend shall be the next shower recipient???! :)
